London's Old Blue Last to celebrate 313th birthday
East London boozer and prime live music venue Old Blue Last celebrates its 313th birthday this year with the bar’s current owners VICE announcing a free party to celebrate the rather impressive feat.
Having played host to hundreds of live shows since the infamous media moguls first occupied the bar in 2005, the bookers behind the venue have invited a host of friends and past performers to take part in a night of shameless debauchery that will be fuelled primarily by a truck load of free booze and a performance from one of the UK’s most successful new acts.
Confirmed to play live at the event – taking place next Thursday on 26 September – are Queen’s English and Phèdre with the evening’s aforementioned special guests being announced on Monday 23 September. DJs for the evening include Jen Long (Radio 1), RFB & Transgressive Sound System, Rich Thane (The Line Of Best Fit), DIY, Subject, Russ Tannen, @edlilo, Streets Of Beige, Baby Love, Pink Mist, No Pain In Pop, Mischa Mafia and Steve XL.
Entry is guest-list only. Click here for your chance to win names on the list and free drinks.
