Ólafur Arnalds links with JFDR for stunning new cut "Back To The Sky"
Icelandic musicians Ólafur Arnalds and JFDR have teamed up on the stunning new single "Back To The Sky".
"Back To The Sky" is the first collaborative single from Arnalds and JFDR, and arrives after Arnalds' "Oceans" track with RY X that landed in January.
The new track is released alongside a visual directed by Arni & Kinski.
JFDR says of the new collaboration, "When Ólafur sent over the demo, I could instantly hear and feel and the melody. I was back in Reykjavík for a little while this winter and somehow ended up living on my own: the sky was dark and all-encompassing, I was quite lonely, and staring into the sky was like I could speak to someone through the cosmos."
"Back To The Sky" is JFDR's first collaboration since contributing to Shards' charity single "Inside I'll Sing" in April.
Arnalds is yet to follow up his 2018 album Re:member.
