Oh Sees announce new album as OSees with lead track "Dreary Nonsense"
Oh Sees, fka Thee Oh Sees, have announced their new album Protean Threat as OSees, as well as sharing the lead single "Dreary Nonsense".
John Dwyer likes to keep people on their toes, and today is no different. Instead of approaching the new Oh Sees album as Oh Sees (fka Thee Oh Sees), the band will release Protean Threat with a slightly different name - OSees.
"Dreary Nonsense" is the first taster of Protean Threat, and is the first Oh Sees/OSees track since they released "Blood On Your Boots" earlier this month as part of the Be Gay, Do Crime! compilation album.
Dwyer writes, "THIS RECORDING IS AT THE APOGEE OF SCUZZ. PUNK ANTHEM AMULETS FOR YOUR EARS AND HEART. A BATTERY FOR YOUR CORE. BE STRONG, BE HUMAN, BE LOVE."
The OSees leader is also releasing a debut album with a group called Bent Arcana next month.
