Of Monsters and Men debut intense new "Organs" visuals on Best Fit
Icelandic epic-folk band Of Monsters and Men are debuting their intimate new video for "Organs" on Best Fit.
"Organs" is the latest cut to be severed from recent lauded LP Beneath The Skin. The record is their second in total, following the mighty success of debut My Head Is An Animal, which featured tracks like "Little Talks" and "Your Bones" - the latter being the focus of our gorgeous live session.
The clip is the latest in Of Monsters and Men's series of close-up lyric videos which focus on the intensity of the human face. The visuals for "Organs" mark the first time that a member of the band has starred in one, however, with vocalist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir the subject of the camera's unending gaze. In the greyscale video, Hilmarsdóttir stares deep into the lens - through it, perhaps - creating a deep connection. It's beautiful and haunting in equal measure.
You can also watch the previous instalments in the series: "Empire", "Hunger", "Human", "Crystals", and "I Of The Storm".
Beneath The Skin is out now via Island.
