Odd Future's The Internet to drop new song on Friday
The Internet, the electro-soul collaboration between Odd Future producers Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians, are to leak a new song on Friday, with album details to follow.
Syd took to her Twitter on Wednesday to reveal that a track from their forthcoming album Feel Good, the follow-up to 2011′s Purple Naked Ladies, will drop this Friday. Information about the record’s release date, likely to fall in September, will emerge next week.
The pair, along with their band, have been touring with Mac Miller et al on the Space Migration Tour, and keyboardist and vocalist Tay Walker recently put out an eponymous EP of solo material. Syd, meanwhile, is busy setting up her own Hollywood recording studio, Chateau Marie.
“Next month is gonna be funky,” she said.
