Obviously 5 Believers of Bob Dylan; Swedish scientists sneak song snippets into articles for a bet
Five respected Swedish academics have been planting Bob Dylan lyrics and song titles into scientific papers. For seventeen years. On a bet.
The clutch of researchers began the bet in 1997, after Jon Lundberg and Eddie Weitzberg released their paper: "Nitric Oxide and Inflammation: The Answer Is Blowing In the Wind (1997)".
It soon expanded into more and more titles, including: "Tangled Up in Blue: Molecular Cardiology in the Postmolecular Era (1998)", "The Biological Role of Nitrate and Nitrite: The Times They Are a-Changin’ (2009)", "Eph Receptors Tangled Up in Two (2010)" and "Dietary Nitrate – A Slow Train Coming (2011)".
The winner is the scientist with the most Dylan lyrics/titles in academic papers (not important scientific research, but rather journals and editorial) by the time they retire. They'll be rewarded with lunch at a local restaurant, Jöns Jacob.
As for who will be crowned victorious? Well, One Of Them Must Know (Sooner or Later).
