NZCA LINES unveils vibrant new track "Prisoner of Love"
NZCA LINES is back with the vibrant "Prisoner of Love", the third taster of his forthcoming album Pure Luxury.
"Prisoner of Love" lands after earlier outings "Real Good Time" and "Pure Luxury".
NZCA LINES, aka Michael Lovett, says of the new single, "This song is about the cycle of heartbreak and dependency within a relationship that isn’t working, a constant motion of being pushed away and sucked back in. Both people could be doing this, each at the mercy of the other’s emotions - unable to move forward yet unable to step away, the cycle repeats itself."
Pure Luxury will be the first NZCA LINES LP since 2016's Infinite Summer, and is almost entirely produced by Lovett himself. He wrote the album between London, New York and Los Angeles.
