Saxophonist and composer Nubya Garcia is back with her new piece "Pace" that runs just shy of eight minutes.
"Pace" is the first new release from Garcia since her 2018 EP When We Are.
The new single is co-produced by Kwes (Nérija, Bobby Womack, Solange) and Garcia.
Garcia's new release reflects the hyper-productivity in real life, a lifestyle that, Garcia explains, can leave us "very isolated and disconnected from ourselves and each other". She adds that she hopes the piece makes people "think on what makes each of us joyful, what things we personally reach towards to feel grounded".
Nubya Garcia's "Pace" single is out now on Concord Jazz.
