Nordic News: Ja Ja Ja April lineup announcement, TLOBF confirmed as SPOT Festival media partners
After last month’s packed out Ja Ja Ja, curated by TLOBF’s Rich Thane and featuring sterling sets from When Saints Go Machine, Lucy Swann and Team Me we’re back to announce April’s equally eclectic lineup. The 100% Nordic affair, taking place at The Lexington, London on Thursday 28 April return with sets from Denmark’s Hymns From Ninevah (who only last week garnered a TLOBF Recommended album review), Zebra and Snake from Finland and the magnificent Feldberg from Iceland.
Where usually Ja Ja Ja is fronted by a guest curator, from now on all future lineups will be handpicked by a dedicated booking group whose members include Matty Hall, founder of London’s revered weekly White Heat club night and editor of The Line Of Best Fit, Rich Thane. More changes to Ja Ja Ja are afoot, but we’ll keep those under wraps for now.
Tickets for Ja Ja Ja April are on sale now via WeGotTickets and priced at £5.
***Ja Ja Ja Competition***
Last month two super fans won the chance to DJ at Ja Ja Ja (and a good job they did too). This month as there’s a little other not-as -important event happening (some Royals are getting hitched apparently), we’re giving away a wedding cake (with a difference)….embossed with Ja Ja Ja logo and the winners name. Cute eh? And we’ll throw in goodies from all three bands playing April’s Ja Ja Ja. To enter, simply answer the question below.
