Noel Gallagher calls Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun "American idiots" over masters dispute
Noel Gallagher has shared his opinion on the Taylor Swift feud with Scooter Braun, calling them both "American idiots".
Last month, Taylor Swift wrote a Tumblr post sharing her thoughts on Scooter Braun acquiring Big Machine Records, the label that holds the masters of Taylor Swift's first six albums.
People such as Sia and Justin Bieber have taken Braun's side, while Brendon Urie, Sky Ferreira, and Lily Allen have shared their support for Swift.
In a new interview with Variety, Noel Gallagher has shared his thoughts on the matter, "I’m not a fan of Taylor Swift. I’m less of a fan of Scooter Brown or whatever his fucking name is. They’re just American idiots. Which, really, I’d be fucking ashamed of them, if I were you."
The new interview is pretty explosive, and even sees Noel Gallagher share his opinion on Lewis Capaldi's reactions to Gallagher having a few digs, "Fucking Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot. It’s the greatest day of his fucking life so far. He’s just thinking, "Wow!" Well, I know you’re Scottish and all that, but fucking hell! It is like a third world country, but for fucks sake, man, you must have had a better day than this. Surely!"
