The NME Awards have announced the nominations for this year’s event.
The ceremony will take place at East London’s Troxy on 27 February.
Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Vaccines, Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees and The Cribs will all go head to head for the converted ‘Best British Band’ award.
More surprising, however, Odd Future have been nominated for ‘Best International Band’, Alt-J up for ‘Best New Band’ as well as ‘Worst Band’ and Azealia Banks for ‘Villain of the Year’.
