Nite Fields preview new LP Depersonalisation with ambient cut "Winter's Gone"
Australian post-punk foursome Nite Fields have pulled the trigger on "Winter's Gone", a new cut previewing soon-to-be-released debut Depersonalisation.
The track is a breezy soundscape, punctured by shards of glasslike guitar and reverberating squalls of white noise; it's definitely chilly. The band fuse whispered vox, á la The xx, with these ambient experiments to create something, that while sounding wholly desolate, is actually rather warm on the inside.
Depersonalisation is out 2 February on felte.
