Nirvana's In Utero reissue to include 70 bonus tracks
As previously reported, Nirvana’s third and final album, In Utero is set to experience a 20th anniversary reissue later this year – with it now revealed that the collection will feature a whopping 70 extra songs.
Following similar treatment for the band’s breakthrough LP Nevermind back in 2011, its reactionary follow-up will be re-released as a ‘Super Deluxe Edition’.
Among the newly-unveiled material will be “a veritable treasure trove of never-before-heard demos, B-sides, compilation tracks, and live material featuring the final touring lineup of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl and Pat Smear.” The package will also come equipped with a 90-page booklet.
The boxset has been given a due date of 24 September, coming as a 2-CD set and triple vinyl set.
