Nirvana, Hall and Oates & more inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
The list of inductees for next year’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has been announced, with a diverse selection of acts selected.
With their debut single “Love Buzz” now 25 years old, Seattle grunge legends Nirvana have been picked to join the elite list in their first year of eligibility. They’ll be joined by Peter Gabriel, Kiss, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt.
Meanwhile, Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band will receive an award for “Musical Excellence”, while Beatles manager Brian Epstein and Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham will get the Ahmet Ertegun accolades.
The Replacements, N.W.A., Chic, LL Cool J and more missed out on being inducted this time round.
