Nina Nastasia previews new album with third single "Afterwards"
Nina Nastasia has released a third preview of her first album in 12 years, Riderless Horse, titled "Afterwards".
Following the release of previous singles "This Is Love" and "Just Stay In Bed", Nastasia has shared a third cut from the record titled "Afterwards".
"I don’t believe in ghosts…so far, but dead people can stick around for the longest time," Nastasia said of the new single. "They can tell you what to do and stop you from doing. I have no interest in finding out that ghosts exist. In fact I really hope they don’t. Things are complicated enough."
Riderless Horse will follow 2010's Outlaster, and documents Nastasia's grief after her former partner and collaborator Kennan Gudjonsson died by suicide in 2020.
