Nilüfer Yanya previews new album with third single "anotherlife"
Nilüfer Yanya has released a third preview of her PAINLESS album titled "anotherlife".
"anotherlife" is the third outing from Yanya's second album, following previous singles "midnight sun" and "stabilise".
Speaking about the track, which is teamed with a Molly Daniel-directed video, Yanya says, "At the core of the song it’s just about being OK with things and accepting that this is where you are at. However, the 'I’ll do anything' line hints at a desperation of wanting to let that be known."
PAINLESS will follow Yanya's 2019 debut LP Miss Universe, and according to the artist, it's a "record about emotion." Yanya added, "I think it's more open about that in a way that Miss Universe wasn't because there's so many cloaks and sleeves with the concept I built around it."
