Nils Frahm's synth misplaced en route to Sydney
Nils Frahm’s synths and pickups were lost in transit yesterday during a trip to Sydney.
The electronic composer was traveling to Sydney to perform at the Vivid Festival. Last night, he posted the following on Facebook:
“Just landed in Sydney. Nice. Not so nice: my Juno 60 and my helpinstill piano pickups got stuck in Belgrade. If you know someone in Sydney who has either a Roland Juno 60 or Helpinstill pickups please let us know. Australia deserves a full show. Any help appreciated!”
The Sydney Opera House told the Daily Mail earlier today that they had sourced equipment to be used for the show, and that Frahm’s bag had been located and would be shipped to him. Frahm later updated the Facebook thread with the following reply:
just wanted to let you all know that in the end the instruments arrived in time. and thanks to your help we found out that there are many junos in sydney [wink emoticon] lots of love to you all and thank you for your help!
