Nils Frahm's new project nonkeen share first track "chasing god through palmyra", announce new tour
nonkeen - the new project from German composer Nils Frahm and two talented childhood friends - have lots of news.
They've shared the first track from their upcoming debut record the gamble - it's called "chasing god through palmyra", and comes with a video featuring some pretty impressive model trains.
Speaking about the video, the trio say: "The video for ‘chasing god through palmyra’ was drafted, filmed and edited by FELD in close collaboration with nonkeen and the mectub railway club Berlin. It portrays the close friendship between a man and a machine bonded by their escape fantasies as they circle together on an endless loop along the tracks of life inside a repetitive and psychedelic world."
As well as the track/video, nonkeen have announced a series of European shows, including one at London's Village Underground on 20 April 2016.
the gamble is out on R&S 5 February next year.
