Nils Frahm shares new track "Wall", launches Piano Day
Neoclassical composer Nils Frahm has unveiled a brand new cut called "Wall", and detailed his plans for Piano Day.
Frahm says of the endeavour: “Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.”
The keyed instruments have suffered a bit of woe lately, and Frahm intends to bring the love back to one of the world's most versatile instruments.
Piano Day will take place 29 March (coincidentally the 88th day of the year...). Frahm is expected to unveil "exciting news" on this day.
