Nils Bech announces new record, watch video for lead single now
Norway's indie-popper Nils Bech is to release a new album, titled One Year, this November. You can stream the video for the first single "I Punish You" below.
Directed by photographer Benjamin Alexander Huseby and featuring artist Ida Ekblad alongside Bech, the video was partly filmed "spontaneously while drunk on our phones".
Bech says of his forthcoming record:
"For the first time in my life I’m one hundred per cent comfortable with being the artist I am. A brutally honest creative process such as this had to happen for this album to exist. Now I’m both more confident and comfortable in my own skin as a performer and songwriter."
Nils Bech will perform at this year's Ja Ja Ja Festival where he will play material from One Year in the UK for the first time. Grab your tickets here.
One Year is out 17 November.
