NIKI has released her slick new track "Selene" as the second single from her forthcoming Moonchild album.
"Selene" follows on from April's lead single "Switchblade", and is, in NIKI's own words, "about pure sensuality and femininity. I wanted to create a song specifically about the Goddess of the Moon who possesses Moonchild for a brief moment of naiveté and recklessness."
Moonchild is a concept album that will feature 10 tracks, and explores her journey through three lunar phases - crescent moon (innocence, curiosity, embarking), half-moon/eclipse (loss of hope, disillusionment) and full moon (self-discovery, strength).
NIKI's "Selene" single is out now on 88rising. Her Moonchild album is yet to get a release date.
