Florence and The Machine's latest single "What Kind Of Man" has been reworked by Nicolas Jaar.
Jaar's edit has transformed Florence Welch's rock-tinged cacophony into a low-rumbling house tune. It gradually evolves, twists, and contorts over its duration, with propulsive beats and slick electronics underpinning powerful vocal bursts; the lauded American producer morphs the noise from burbling minimalism to rocket-fuelled club fodder and back again.
Welch's upcoming record How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is out 1 June via Island.
