Nick Cave reveals son Jethro Lazenby has died
Nick Cave has confirmed in a statement that his and Beau Lazenby's son Jethro Lazenby has died.
In a statement shared by Cave this afternoon (9 May), he wrote, "With much sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away. We would be grateful for family privacy at this time."
Jethro Lazenby, also known as Jethro Cave, was an actor and model, and was born in 1991 in Melbourne.
He only learned that Nick Cave was his father aged eight.
Lazenby's death comes just seven years after Cave lost his 15-year-old son Arthur, who fell off a cliff in Brighton back in 2015. Cave is due to release a book later this year about the years following Arthur Cave's death titled Faith, Hope and Carnage.
