Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days On Earth and the feature-length debut God Help the Girl from Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch both picked up awards at the recent Sundance Film Festival.
The Nick Cave doc, which followed a semi-fictionalised day in the life of the singer, won both the Directing Award and Editing Award, while Murdoch’s flick was honoured with the Delightful Ensemble Performance jury prize.
Films scored by Flying Lotus, Ben Gibbard and Ad Rock also premiered at the fest.
