One of Newport’s best live music venues, Le Pub is in danger of closing.
DIY brings to our attention that the club has been put up for sale and could stop hosting gigs.
BBC Wales report that Le Pub “could be in danger of falling out of live music usage” if potential future owners decide to run it solely as a bar.
The venue posted on Twitter:
The building is up for sale. We are working on solutions. Get this trending #savelepub please!!!

Le Pub is one of the Newport scene’s most influential cornerstones, along with TJ’s which sadly ceased in 2010.
