Newcastle band win Glastonbury 'Emerging Talent' competition

The winner of this year’s Glastonbury Emerging Talent contest has been announced, with the lucky ones unveiled as Newcastle-based fourpiece, Bridie Jackson & The Arbour.
The group will now play the Pyramid Stage at 2013′s leg of the legendary fest, alongside the Rolling Stones, Nick Cave, Primal Scream and more.
Bridie Jackson & The Arbour beat seven other finalists at the last heat of the competition at an event in Pilton, Somerset.
