New Order's Bernard Sumner fractures leg but continues with tour regardless
“As I was leaving a hotel one of the doormen said “Break a leg” apparently that’s just what I have done,” New Order frontman Bernard Sumner says of his recent injury. Well, not really, broken, but fractured at least – but Sumner reveals the show(s) will continue as normal.
The veteran musician recently revealed that he was diagnosed this week with a fractured leg, revealing that despite “in pain and physically unable to give it my all” when on stage, the group’s current North American tour will continue as normal.
The band are due to play Boston later this week, with shows in Chicago and Montreal following on the weekend. Check the full details beneath.
