New Order stream new concert album 'Live at Bestival 2012′
-
New Order are set to release a new live album next week of last year’s Bestival set, aptly named ‘Live at Bestival 2012′. Before then, however, you can stream it online.
The set includes hits ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’, ‘Blue Monday’, and ‘Temptation’ as well as an encore of a Joy Division medley of ‘Transmission’ and ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’.
New Order drummer Stephen Morris explained of the release:
“We played at so many festivals in 2012, and our highlights were, without doubt, the last two in the UK, Portmeirion and Bestival, it’s great to give something back, and also to give such a brilliant crowd something to remember the show by. And if you weren’t there, buy the CD and enjoy the experience that way!”
All profits from the album go towards the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, which offers counselling, advice, information, and support services to young people under the age of 25. Order a copy here.
