A new venue from the people behind Bristol’s Thekla and Rock City in Nottingham is set to launch in Hackney later this month.
The venue – dubbed Oslo – will be situated at 1a Amhurst Road, near Hackney Central station, renovating what used to be an old ticket office. A press release describes it as a “mixture of inventive food, crafted drinks with a creative music programme. All with a hint of nordic aesthetic”.
Oslo opens on 17 January with a Dry The River gig. The likes of Indiana, Peggy Sue and more will also play the venue over the next few weeks.
