New documentary rummages through J Dilla's record collection

Ever wondered what your heroes listen to? Course you have, and this impulse only seems to increase after the artist is deceased. We’ve already had John Peel’s record collection streaming online, and now there’s a new documentary based on that of late producer J Dilla.
An episode of Fuse’s slightly off-named Crate Diggers, the clip reveals Dilla’s collection to contain LPs by The Isley Brothers, as well as some Beach Boys, fusion jazz and more. It also depicts some of the local haunts that the hip-hop star used to frequent.
Dilla passed away in 2006 from a rare blood disease. Watch the doc below:
