Update: New David Bowie album soon? Tony Visconti says he was misquoted by CNN

Tony Visconti, David Bowie's longtime producer, who worked on last year's surprise return The Next Day, has revealed that we're to see more from the Thin White Duke "soon".

It's hard to think that there's a subtext or danger of misinterpreting Visconti's exact words: “There’s gonna be another album, definitely.”

Update: However, it would appear that it wasn't an album he was referring to but the extra tracks included on Nothing Has Changed. The saga of will-Bowie, won't-Bowie continues.

This fantastic news comes after the revelation of Bowie's new career-spanning retrospective, named Nothing Has Changed. Celebrating a full half century since Bowie's first recording, it will include debut single "Liza Jane", Toy offcut "Let Me Sleep Beside You", formerly digital-only "Your Turn To Drive" and the 2001 rerecording of 1971's “Shadow Man.” More excitingly, the greatest hits anthology will also feature two brand new songs, “Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)” and “Tis A Pity She’s A Whore”.
