New app 'Personal Song Coach' offers online feedback to musicians
A new platform set up by social networking website Emeraz, Personal Song Coach has been launched offering budding music makers help and guidance.
The service promises to connect musicians with “experts” in the fields of songwriting and production, with the former uploading a particular track before the latter gives a constructive rundown of it – all for a fee of €23.99.
Tim Hawes and Obi Mhondera of publishing company Zebra1 are two of the first opinion leaders recruited, brought on board to record 10 minutes of audio of suggestions and improvements for certain parts the musicians need help with.
“Personal Song Coach was created to solve a problem I had over and over again,” said founder Stephen Brett. “Having the experience of guys like Tim and Obi at my disposal whenever I needed help would have saved me so much time and helped me learn much faster.”
