Never Mind The Buzzcocks reboot confirmed for later this year
It's been confirmed that the iconic music-based comedy panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks is returning in autumn this year, over six years after it was cancelled by BBC.
Never Mind The Buzzcocks is returning in autumn after being cancelled by BBC in May 2015.
The long-running comedy panel show will make a comeback for an eight-episode series on Sky and NOW.
Noel Fielding will return as a team captain alongside Daisy May Cooper (This Country). Greg Davies (Taskmaster) will host, and comedian Jamali Maddix has been confirmed as a regular guest.
Prior to being cancelled in 2015, Never Mind The Buzzcocks ran for 28 series on BBC Two, and was hosted by the likes of Mark Lamarr, Simon Amstell and various guest hosts, including Rhod Gilbert, who hosted the show's final series.
According to NME, Director of Sky Arts and Entertainment for Sky, Phil Edgar-Jones, said that it's "one of those truly iconic shows" and added that it's return is "a buzz and a treat for lovers of tuneless humming everywhere."
