Neneh Cherry streams new album Blank Project, shares Joe Goddard remix of “Out Of The Black”
Swedish singer Neneh Cherry is set to release her first solo album in 17 years next week, today airing the whole thing online.
The upcoming LP, Blank Project will be released on 25 February via Smalltown Supersound, produced by both Four Tet and RocketNumberNine.
“It was a liberating experience, not endlessly trying to fiddle with the music, re-recording hundreds of times,” Cherry says of the record. “These days it’s easy to create any effect or sound on a computer, it is much harder to get the rawness I think we’ve achieved.”
