Neko Case: "I'm not a fucking "woman in music", I'm a fucking musician in music!"
Last night, @PlayboyDotCom tweeted (...obligatory NSFW warning) “Artist @NekoCase is breaking the mold of what women in the music industry should be:” along with a link to an op-ed piece the site ran about Case the day before. Today, Case replied in objection to the loaded compliment, declaring “IM NOT A FUCKING “WOMAN IN MUSIC”, IM A FUCKING MUSICIAN IN MUSIC!”
