Neil Young puts tour dates on hold to focus on 15 film projects
Neil Young has postponed all but two of his 2019 tour dates so that he can finish 15 archival film projects.
In a new post on his Neil Young Archives site, the legendary musician wrote, "NYA will be devoting the rest of this year to Shakey Pictures projects that deserve our focused attention to complete and deliver at their highest level."
He added, "We will be in the editing suites for the duration of 2019, putting some parts of this together for you. Thanks for coming to our shows! We plan to be back in 2020!"
Back in April Neil Young revealed he was working on a new album with Crazy Horse, their first collaborative album in seven years.
It will be titled Colorado, and one of the projects on Young's list is titled "Colorado Sessions".
Some of the projects will use archival footage from the '70s and '80s, including his 1976 show at London's Odeon Hammersmith with Crazy Horse.
