Neil Young previews new Storytone album
Storytone is the latest release from the prolific Canadian artist. The joint release of the orchestral and acoustic versions will be available from 3 November on Reprise Records
Neil Young continues the recent vogue for classical collaboration with a 92-piece orchestra and choir, some songs with a 60-piece orchestra, and three with a big band on one version of the album, while offering an acoustic set of recordings on the other.
As we predicted last month "Who's Gonna Stand Up" appears on these two new parellel LPs and does so as their opening track.
Visit the album's website for pre-order details. Meanwhile you can listen to the records courtesy of NPR. The first is orchestral, the second acoustic.
