Neil Young announces three live albums as part of Official Bootleg Series
Neil Young has announced three releases as part of his Official Bootleg Series, which are recordings from three concerts in the '70s.
In May, Neil Young will continue his Official Bootleg Series with three live albums - Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (Los Angeles, 1 February 1971), Royce Hall (Los Angeles, 30 January 1971) and Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line) (NYC, 16 May 1974).
Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is a solo acoustic live recording from Young's last US show of his 1971 solo tour, while Royce Hall is also a solo acoustic gig, but was recorded on the UCLA campus. Citizen Jane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line) is a recording from a surprise New York City set.
Both the Royce Hall and Dorothy Chandler Pavilion albums have been made using the original analogue masters, while Citizen Kane Jr. Blues (Live at The Bottom Line) has been remastered from the original bootleg.
Young's first release as part of his Official Bootleg Series was last year's Carnegie Hall 1970 album.
