Naughty Boy talks home cooking (and why Mary J Blige loves his shepherd's pie) on our latest podcast
Naughty Boy, the British pop producer at the top of his game who's worked with everyone from Beyonce to Popcaan, tells us why food matters to him on our latest podcast exploring celebrity obsessions.
Under the name of Naughty Boy, producer Shahid Khan has been behind some of the most succesful pop music of the last few years. His breakthrough came in 2013 when “La La La” shot to number one. The song featured a relatively unknown Sam Smith and since then Shahid has worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Emilie Sande, Janet Jackson and Missy Elliot. This year he’s back with a Joe Jonas collaboration which is the first song taken from his second album.
Shahid is a real foodie and has become well known for feeding his artist in the studio, whether it’s rustling up a lamb kofte for Sam Smith, a spicy curry for Zayn Malik or a shepherd's pie for Mary J Blige and today we’re talking to him about his love of home cooking. Listen now via iTunes.
