Natalie Prass, Sinéad Harnett, and more added to Royal Albert Home schedule
Royal Albert Hall have added some new names to their Royal Albert Home series, including Natalie Prass, Sinéad Harnett, and more.
Natalie Prass will perform tomorrow (2 May) at 7:30pm BST, while Marisha Wallace will follow 24 hours later on 3 May. Sinéad Harnett will play the livestream series on 7 May at 9pm BST.
The Royal Albert Home series was launched last month with Rufus Wainwright leading the lineup. The next event to take place will be Classical for Kids: Harmonious Harp, which will be streamed at 2pm BST tomorrow (2 May), and Natalie Prass will perform later that day.
Artistic Director of the Royal Albert Hall, Lucy Noble, says, "We’re so excited to announce three more extraordinary performers for this eclectic series. So far, Royal Albert Home has spotlighted everything from Bach cello suites to Baxter Dury, taking in electronica, spoken word, and show tunes courtesy of Alfie Boe. The Hall is all about showcasing remarkable artists across endless genres, whether that’s established names or up-and-coming talent, and this specially-curated season of streamed shows underlines the diversity that’s always at the heart of our programme."
She adds, "These three new shows are a great example of that. Sinéad took our breath away with her stunning, soulful debut album, and we’re long-time fans of Natalie, whose genre-hopping records are a thing of beauty. While we’re working with those artists for the first time, Marisha has taken centre-stage at the Hall four times, enrapturing audiences with her astonishing voice. We can’t wait to share these special, one-off performances from three more acclaimed, truly distinctive artists."
