Nashville TV stars cover Wilco in star-studded charity concert
The second annual Light The Late Night charity concert - organised by Charles Esten who plays country star Deacon Claybourne in the ABC TV show 'Nashville' - was held last weekend in downtown Nashville to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Billed on the night as 'Charles Esten & Friends', the two hour long concert featured a host of stars from the TV show perform alongside family friends and associates of Esten, many of which who have been touched by Cancer in some way.
The youngest members of the cast, sisters Lennon and Maisy Stella (who play Maddie and Daphne Conrad in the show), came up trumps on the evening to perform a poignant version of the classic Wilco track "Jesus, etc" from their 2001 album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.
Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley) and Chris Carmack (Will Lexington) also made appearances, all backed by local Nashville band Sixwire.
Over $20k was raised in ticket sales and donations on the night. More information on the charity can be found here. Watch a short clip of Lennon and Maisy performing Wilco below.
