As previously reported, Nas is set to mark the 20th anniversary of his debut album Illmatic with a deluxe reissue next month. Now, in the build-up to that re-release, the Queens rapper has appeared on BBC Radio 1 for Annie Mac.
Nas contributed a “Bedtime Mix” on the Sunday night programme, choosing tracks by Sade, John Coltrane and more. You can listen to that, along with an interview, over at the BBC website.
Meanwhile, the hip-hop legend has also participated in a roundtable discussion on the state of the U.S prison system. You can watch that below from the 33 minute mark.
