Nakhane links with ANOHNI for euphoric new cut "New Brighton"
"New Brighton" is a new offering that is set to feature on Nakhane's deluve edition of his 2018 record You Will Not Die.
Nakhane came to work with ANOHNI after seeing her Facebook post on Nakhane's "Presbyteria" track. Nakhane explains, "Having ANOHNI - a musician who created a tectonic shift in my life - is still unbelievable to me. I wanted her to sound like an ancestor in the song: “Never live in fear again”. Such a simple line, but sung by that voice, it becomes Biblical.”
"New Brighton" is one of three new tracks that will feature on Nakhane's You Will Not Die deluxe edition record, as well as "Medicine" and "Hey Lover".
The album will also feature two covers by Nakhane - David Bowie’s "Sweet Thing" and New Order’s "Age of Consent".
