Nadine Coyle says Girls Aloud will reunite for fundraising gig to honour Sarah Harding
Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle has revealed that the group are planning to reunite for a fundraising event in memory of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
In a new interview with OK! Magazine, Nadine Coyle spoke about the possibility of Girls Aloud reuniting for a one-off gig to raise money for cancer research after their bandmate Sarah Harding died from breast cancer in September last year.
Coyle said, "We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honour of Sarah. She’s very much in the forefront of our minds."
"We want to raise money for a piece of medical equipment that helps diagnose cancer earlier so people can be treated," Coyle added. "We definitely want to do something to help others."
The Girls Aloud singer also reflected on the passing of Harding, saying it "still affects us deeply – to think about everything that she went through."
