Mystery Jets share two unreleased tracks recorded live to vinyl
Mystery Jets have shared a previously unreleased track "Stormborn", and a cover of The Waterboys' "The Whole Of The Moon" on their new release Live To Vinyl.
"Stormborn" is a track that was cut away from Mystery Jets' 2016 album, Curve of the Earth.
The band revealed on Twitter the original track and Waterboys cover were recorded live in front of an audience at London's Metropolis Studios in the summer just gone.
Mystery Jets added, "With the help of the erudite team at the Chiswick studios we performed an unheard song from the Curve of the Earth sessions called "Stormborn" as well as the Waterboys classic "The Whole Of The Moon". Performing both numbers twice each we then asked our guests on the other side of the glass which rendition of the two should be committed to vinyl. It was an exhilarating experience as well as a rear chance to wholeheartedly commit to a musical moment in time…no editing, no fussing, no auto-tune."
