My Sad Captains detail LP4 and air new single "Everything At The End Of Everything"
My Sad Captains have announced their fourth record Sun Bridge and shared the visuals for lead single "Everything At The End Of Everything".
Artist Ian Brown created the visuals for lead single "Everything At The End Of Everything" in Finland, Sweden, and the UK.
The London-based band are following up 2014's Best Of Times. Sun Bridge will be the first outing with their new lineup - Jim Wallis and Nick Goss departed, with Ben Walker (drums) and Leon Dufficy (guitars) joining. The live lineup also features Henry Thomas (keys) and Steve Blackwell (bass); Blackwell takes the place of Dan Davis, who contributed the cover art and worked on the LP but has now relocated to San Francisco.
My Sad Captains have produced Sun Bridge themselves, with Iggy B on engineering duties and mixing/additional production from Jeff Zeigler (The War On Drugs).
"Our last record was primarily about doing one thing well - a kind of mid-tempo, dreamy kraut-pop," says singer/guitarist Ed Wallis. "Our aim with this record was to be more dynamic, and push things out in different directions; simultaneously stretching out the ambience while sharpening the focus."
