My Morning Jacket to host festival at Mexican holiday resort
Following on from S.S Coachella, the Weezer Cruise et al, My Morning Jacket have decided to throw a party of their own, announcing a festival in Mexico for early next year.
Dubbed One Big Holiday, the fest will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico between 26-30 January 2014. Jim James and co promise ”spontaneous artist involvement, cultural activities & excursions” as well as ”an off-the-hook dance party that promises plenty of surprises.”
Although no line-up news has yet been confirmed, My Morning Jacket themselves will play three sets throughout the five-day event. Ticket info and more details can be found here. Photos of the resort can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
