Museum Of Bellas Artes call it a day
Stockholm future-pop three-piece Museum Of Bellas Artes have decided to "call it quits".
They released their debut record Pieces late in 2013 via Best Fit Recordings/Force Majeure, but have been active since 2008.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the trio wrote:
"THE END OF MUSEUM OF BELLAS ARTES
Friends,
We have after a longer break decided to call it quits. We will not record music as Museum of Bellas Artes anymore. For those wondering: we will continue to make music, but in new forms. Exactly what and when remains to be seen.
But we will not leave you empty-handed. That's not our style. So before saying farewell, we want to give you a small gift: the over a year late music video for ‘Twine’. We re-recorded the song to suit the video.
And a big thank you for all the kindness and genuine appreciation you have shown us throughout the years.
We’ll meet again,
Alice, Joanna & Leonard"
While the band members' separate futures aren't clear, Leonard Öhman has already released music under the moniker Kallokain.
