Mumdance shares huge music archive featuring 316 hours of mixes
DJ, producer and Novelist collaborator Mumdance has released a huge online music archive that includes 316 hours worth of mixes, many of which are "previously unheard".
Earlier today (10 February) Mumdance, real name Jack Adams, shared a new Instagram post announcing the launch of a music archive via his site to celebrate being three years sober.
The music archive features "316 hours of mixes, many of them previously unheard, alongside a detailed archive of all my work from 2008 onwards including equipment lists and sleeve notes for each track in the discography," Mumdance wrote.
Mumdance opened his statement by writing, "As I complete my third year clean and sober, I wanted to share an archive of my work over the past 14 years ... When I went into recovery I didn't listen to music at all for around two years. My only artistic engagement was some commercial work, alongside getting a normal job."
"Over the last 12 months, I've slowly started to remember what I used to love about music," Mumdance continued. "I have no real expectations of what comes next, but I'm grateful to have the beginnings of a healthier relationship with listening and creating."
