Mount Kimbie took part in a live session on Gilles Peterson’s BBC 6Music show on Saturday, performing two tracks from Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, with a bit of help from King Krule.
The 19-year-old Lewisham based singer worked with the ambient duo on their most recent LP, his assured vocals complementing their moody, atmospheric sound.
Mount Kimble’s sophomore album has been praised for unfurling a “dangerous, psychotropic landscape”, while King Krule’s debut, 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, was released last month to wide acclaim.
